It was important for me to feature this project on my digital portfolio to document my first foray into the world of watch design.

At the time, I had no idea this would become such a critical project in my design career.

Looking back now, there are many things I would change, but without a doubt, this is probably the most important design project I have ever undertaken!
Prototyping.
Prototyping has remained crucial throughout all my design projects, ever since early ones like this.

Having a scale prototype in your hands allows you to examine and experience every detail of a product, which cannot be replicated digitally.
​
Nowadays, it's too easy to settle for a digital render.
More to come.
As mentioned above, this turned out to be a rather important project in my design career.

Perhaps one day I should revisit it?
